The 17th Annual BasketBall will honor Daniel J. Hilferty of Independence Blue Cross for his outstanding support of Coaches vs. Cancer and commitment to the American Cancer Society's mission of eliminating cancer. From creating a culture of health in the workplace, to collaborating on health initiatives for cancer prevention, to helping to fund breakthrough research, Dan Hilferty and Independence Blue Cross have championed the American Cancer Society's mission of attacking cancer from every angle.

This virtual event is hosted by Philadelphia’s NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball coaches - Billy Lange (Saint Joseph’s University), Aaron McKie (Temple University), Steve Donahue (University of Pennsylvania), Zach Spiker (Drexel University), Ashley Howard (La Salle University) and Jay Wright (Villanova University). Since 1996, Coaches vs. Cancer of Philadelphia has raised over $17 million to help eradicate cancer by funding lifesaving research and improve the lives of those affected by this disease.
